I Do Simple Alterations While I am a seamstress, I am very reluctant to take on a long distance dressmaking or tailoring project I do men's and women's clothing alterations: shortening, lengthening, widening, narrowing, buttons, and zippers. I do not work on leather garments.   What You Must Do Once You Accept My Price Quote and Completion Date 1. Describe what you want done in writing--specifying dimensions--in inches please 2. Mark and pin what you want done--If your marking/pinning differs significantly from what you describe in writing I will not proceed without clearance from you--so mark/pin carefully--AND be sure I have a phone number for you--one with voicemail 3. Ship your garment by ground carrier or USPS Priority Mail--Insha'Allah, I will return your garment using the same method and carrier--So you must add the cost of shipping to your bill as well as the cost of insurance and delivery confirmation if you want me to use these features in returning the garment to you. In some instances it might make sense to ship a mailer to me with your garment. I live in Pennsylvania.  Guarantee I am an expert. I take pride in my work. I am a Muslim. You must pay in advance. In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with my work--have two Muslim witnesses contact me with support of your complaint--and, insha'Allah, I will refund what you paid for labor and parts. I will not refund the cost of shipping. I do not replace a garment unless I know I have damaged it. Please note: I do not clean garments or remove stains. The garment should be clean and stain-free when I get it--or I will not work on the garment. If it has an unremovabal stain--we will identify it together before I begin working. Also, I do only the minimal pressing necessary for accurate altering. NO finish pressing (or ironing).
